Business Office Clerk Job in Jenkintown, Pennsylvania US
Business Office Coordinator (Part-Time) Completes a variety of assigned duties to support the business office function at each community and provides information as needed at the Community Support Center Centralized Billing Office (CBO).
Oversees and coordinates the clerical and business office operations including billing; works closely with the community staff, as well as Community Support Center 's Central Billing Office (CBO), Disbursements, and the Finance Department in the successful completion of duties.
Education/Training: Bachelor's Degree in business, accounting or finance is preferred.
High school diploma required.
Prior training in accounting cycle standards and billing procedures, with demonstrated training in professional accounting practices and standards is required.
Skills: Strong organizational skills including prioritization and delegation, proficient accounting skills and interpersonal communications skills.
Demonstrated personal computer usage ability, including spreadsheet and word processing software.
Knowledge of various office equipment and machines.
Visual and auditory skills, ability to sit, stand, bend and lift at least twenty-five pounds.
Experience: Experience as an accounts payable clerk and knowledge of third-party billing regulations.
Three years experience in long term care billing and collections.
