Business Objects Architect -National Job in Texas US
Apply NowBUSINESS INTELLIGENCE TECHNICAL LEADOverviewThe BI Architect will be responsible for the strategy, design, development, and implementation of a BI System.
This person should be able to lead BOBJ projects/be the lead BOBJ person on a project.
Broad BOBJ experience including BusinessObjects Enterprise platform, Crystal, WebI, XCelsius, and Voyager.
In addition, the ability to position all these products correctly in an enterprise solution.
Deep BOBJ architecture as well as tool expertise in multiple of the tools mentioned above (expert level in at least 2 tools) SAP BW (formerly known as SAP BI) experience in general SAP BEx experience BOBJ development on top of BW as a source BOBJ development on top of SAP ERP/ECC directly Interested in sharing knowledge and teaching/educating other team members Interested in creating BOBJ/BW IP Interested in participating in sales calls Open to 100% Travel Experience with BO EIM products (Data Services/Data Integrator, Metadata Manager) or SAP BOs Packaged Analytical Apps (called Rapid Marts) Experience with SAP BIA (Business Intelligence Accelerator) This appliance is a key component of SAPs new BI architecture and will become even more important in the near future.
X Ten+ years of overall experienceX 5+ years of Business Intelligence experienceX Ability to interface effectively with all levels of the organization.
X Excellent interpersonal skills and be a strong and effective communicatorX At least two years of previous consulting experience preferably with a Big 4 or similar organizationRequired Technical SkillsHeavy Experience with Business ObjectsExtensive Experience working in Public ServicesX Experience with at least two BI systemsX Experience with data warehousingX Experience with ETLX Experience with BI dashboards/reportsApply Now
