Business Development Manager Job in New York 10020, New York US
Neudesic is seeking a Business Development Manager to join our growing NYC area office with a focus toward driving and managing sales initiatives throughout the district.
The primary role will be to uncover and develop new business supporting the aggressive growth of the Northeast district.
The Business Development Manager is responsible for both identifying and selling to new clients while continuing to develop and grow business with existing clients.
He or she must be able to establish effective rapport with appropriate level clientele in order to understand their needs/requirements and will work with Neudesic's Project Management team in order to deliver and close accurate proposals for service.
Required Skills: · 5+ years professional sales experience· Professional services sales experience, preferably in software or high-tech industry· Strong grasp of the Microsoft stack as related to selling consulting services· Strong contacts and the ability to build a pipeline from the ground up· Ability to grow and lead a district sales organization· Experience selling to C-level executives in Fortune 1000 companies· Experience selling/orchestrating deal sizes from $50K to $1MM· Professional appearance and eager approach to driving towards aggressive goals · Ability to quickly establish and maintain key relationships within prospect companies· Ability to work collaboratively with Neudesic management and delivery teams · Must have excellent organizational, time management, writing, communication, decision-making, and presentation skills Education / Certifications: · Bachelor's degree in business, sales or marketing; advanced degree in business or marketing desirable Additional Skills & Competencies: · Local to the target district (NYC area) · Knowledge of standard selling disciplines, specifically Solution Selling · Existing knowledge of region with developed relationships · Knowledge of Microsoft server product line and/or familiarity with local Microsoft office teams Neudesic provides for a culture of collaboration, communication, accountability, hard work, individual development and fun.
