Business Analyst with only 3-5 years of expereince Job in boston, Massachusetts US
Work with business partners to ensure properly defined and communicated project requests.
Support them in the development of their business requirements and business cases and ensure that business initiatives requiring IT resources are understood and properly supported by all stakeholders.
Meet with business partners to gain an understanding of their business needs.
Review existing functionality and perform gap analysis to identify possible enhancements to existing system functionalities.
Work with developers/designers to ensure business requirements are understood.
Support the development teams as further refinement of requirements are needed and support the business to ensure the proper solution is being developed.
Work with the IT Training group to insure early involvement in the introduction of new or modified applications.
Works with process group in identifying the need for process facilitation in support of new project requests.
Manage projects through the project lifecycle, including developing charters, schedules, monitoring performance against schedule and ensuring proper communication to all relevant parties.
Establish and maintain effective communication with other project managers, cross-functional project teams, and internal/external customers in order to identify key plan tasks and due dates.
Job Requirements : Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work experience.
3-5 years IT-related experience, such as Business Analysis, Quality Assurance, etc. Basic Word, Intermediate Excel and SQL/Query skills.
Ability to multi-task with limited supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to translate business needs and problems into system specifications and provide technical and business solutions.
Ability to manage the requirements process.
Ability to liaise with individuals across a wide variety of operational, functional and technical disciplines Ability to develop and work with requirements documents, Use Cases and test cases.
Knowledge of various program management/application development methodologies.
Ability to work outside normal business hours with users in different time zones.
