Business Analyst Job in Arlington Heights, Illinois US
* Please reference Job ID when responding to this posting * Hi-Tech Solutions is recruiting for a Business Analyst to be responsible for performing Business Analysis activities for the Marketing Division.
Responsibilities: Major responsibilities include development of detailed requirements, working with Solution Architect to transform ideas into innovative robust solutions, serve as product requirements expert for vendors, support development of testing approach and testing activities.
This person will be managing UA requirements for development by an onshore/offshore development provider, and will be responsible for the definition of product deliverables to ensure smooth integration.
Utilizes experience and knowledge of Project Management, Business Analysis, and technical skills to perform analyses of complex business problems to be solved with technical and non-technical solutions.
Leads the detailed requirements stage, analyzes business needs, and validates solutions with the client.
Applies functional knowledge to design and customization of workflow systems that provide seamless .
Required Skills: · This person must be a good team player and problem solver with strong communication skills (both written and verbal).
· BA or BS is required.
Master's degree or equivalent work experience is preferred.
· Demonstrated ability to translate the business requirements into use cases, activity diagrams, and functional specifications.
· Demonstrated understanding of B2C e-commerce business practices and processes, with ability Hands-on proficiency with word processing (Microsoft Word), spreadsheets (Microsoft Excel), Visio, Microsoft Project, Internet browsers, e-mail and quality management tools.
· General knowledge of relational database, business rules engines, and web technologies.
· Experience working with off-shore development provider is desired.
