1921) and have the largest packaging site on the web http://www.papermart.com Paper Mart is looking for a sharp individual to be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and evaluating business systems and user needs throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) while acting as a liaison between the business and IT. As well as identifying opportunities for improvement and automation of business processes, the Business Systems Analyst will also solicit accurate and complete business and functional requirements.

Responsibilities include: –º Support of Joint Application Design (JAD) meetings, develop and document detailed business and technical specifications for new and changed software, conducting peer reviews to ensure 'as-built' software conforms to specifications, and ensuring that procedures and processes are followed.

–º Maintain requirements/specification traceability management through the entire SDLC.

–º Develop detailed of use cases for use by training and development staff, and assist with quality assurance testing of all software and code releases–º Creates complex test case scenarios to be used in testing; monitors/oversees the testing of business applications to verify that all business requirements are incorporated into the system design.

–º Participates in technical reviews and inspections to verify 'intent of change' is carried through the entire project.

–º Provides time estimates for project related tasks and manage project schedule.

–º Provides leadership and work guidance to less experienced personnel.

–º Interact with management, end users, and trainers, as well as project technical staff, including development and QA staff.

–º Utilize technological trends to suggest technical solutions to enhance the competitive edge of the business.

–º Provide feedback to the business regarding end user training and product use issues.

–º Work with development team to convert functional specifications to technical specifications and provides input into developing and modifying systems to meet business needs.

–º Act as a business relationship manager responsible for the collection, analysis, review, documentation, and communication of business needs to the IT organization, by coordinating and facilitating meetings with business users to gather and document requirements and explore potential solutions and makes recommendations to improve and support business activitiesRequirements: –º 4+ years experience as a Business Analyst with some Project Management experience.

–º Experience developing and monitoring project work plans, resource utilization, and projects economics.

–º Proven ability to communicate appropriate status updates and key milestone updates to stakeholders and to senior management.

–º The applicant needs to be well organized and able to prioritize, organize, and coordinate simultaneous tasks and projects while addressing business needs.

–º Experienced authoring and managing project Statements of Work.

–º Strong conceptual, analytical and problem solving ability.

–º Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

–º Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Math or related field –º Must have good knowledge of SQL and relationship database such as SQL Server–º Prior programming experience preferred.
