Business Analyst to work on a 6 month contract basis for a client in Central, TX.ResponsibilitiesDevelop a business process assessment strategy, approach and methodology that may streamline, shorten or simplify business processesEstablish policies and procedures that create efficient methodology for the communication, implementation and tracking of client services Work closely with other analysts and within leadership team to keep project focused on accomplishing priority tasksOrganize, plan and hold SME work sessions and conduct individual interviews to gather "as-is" process and requirementsInteract with cross functional teams (application, technology, contracts) and staff to design processes and recommend policyTranslate results into understandable diagrams and documents that clearly map "as-is" and "to-be" processes and requirements with recommendations for improvementParticipate with team leadership to identify priority activities and intermediate improvements and provide information to keep team focused on objectives and scheduleIdentify and document subsystems of process and work flows (formal and informal) Document a plan to implement approved recommendations for process improvementMove approved plan from analysis to implementation and daily operationWork under pressure with competing priorities and adhere to a tight scheduleCommunicate regularly with team leaders and executive sponsorsRequirementsBachelor's degree in a business or technical field and at least eight years experience in business process reengineering for large organizational or functional groupsHands-on experience in analysis, design of business and operational processes, creating clear concise diagrams and documentationWork experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping and reengineeringImplementing and operationalizing new processes, policies and proceduresOrganizing and facilitating meetings with executives, stakeholders and teamsPREFERRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCEStrong communication skills and proven success defining, managing and delivering success with complex projectsStrong interview, facilitation, problem resolution, consensus building and negotiation skillsStrong professional, analytical, problem identification and process analysis skillsKnowledge of utilizing technology as an effective solution for solving business problemsKnowledge of DIR's TEX-AN and CCTS services and solutionsKnowledge of DIR governance and organizationKnowledge of Vision and PowerpointFamiliarity with NetplusBenefitsLong Term Contract OpportunityCompetitive payQuestions you will be asked: • Please describe your experience as a Business Analyst 3 including number of years and types of industries experience gained.
