Building Maintenance Technician Use your mechanical aptitude to conduct minor maintenance and repair within the buildings operated and maintained for the GSA/FDA at the Federal Research Center, a seven building three million sq ft facility.

Grow your career as the US Food and Drug Administration consolidates organizations from throughout the Washington Capital Region and soon grows to 15 buildings and over five million sq ft. You will maintain the systems in all the buildings.

The customer set is high level health and physics research teams, and the technical and administrative staffs of the Food and Drug Administration.

You will work independent of the Supervising Field Technician to execute all technical or craft disciplines providing operations and maintenance services in the buildings.

Tasks to be performed include the supervision or actions taken to: · Maintain and perform minor repairs on electrical systems including replacing lamps and ballasts.

· Maintain and perform minor repair on plumbing systems.

· Maintenance Air handling units.

· Organize and Maintain equipment spaces.

· Assist higher technicians with repairs · Must maintain absolutely safe building · Prepare documentation on parts to be repaired or replaced.

· Assist in the repair or perform repairs on Central Utility Plant equipment from to time to time as directed by the Honeywell Site Manager or Supervisors It's an exciting time to join Honeywell.
