Broker Service Associate Job in Oakland 94602, California US
Position SummaryThe Broker Service Associate will be responsible for managing agent contracts and resolving agent hierarchy disputes.
Superior data-entry skills are essential because the Broker Service Associate must process 2500 to 3500 new contracts per year.
In addition to entering contracts, the Broker Service Associate will provide superior customer service to our broker family.
A successful candidate will be detail oriented, manage broker relationships, perform data-entry tasks quickly, be well organized, adhere to strict deadlines, and enjoy researching contract and commission issues.
This position will require extensive collaboration with our brokers, sales directors, and area sales coordinators.
Customer focus and the ability to be direct, yet friendly, are two important skills for a successful candidate to possess.
The ideal candidate will encompass everything mentioned above, and also utilize his or her contract/commission/medicare knowledge to recruit and retain agents throughout the year.
Primary duties and responsibilities
1. Enter each contract into the system within 24 hours2.
Manage agent appointments3.
Manage each GAs agent hierarchy; assist GA with contract and certification submissions4.
Settle agent/GA disputes in a diplomatic manner5.
Provide training and assistance to brokers for commission and sales related issues6.
Maintain clean contract database, without any duplicate agents7.
Perform commission reconciliation's and conduct research with/for brokers and internal staff8.
Assist both corporate and field personnel with special projects and administrative tasks9.
Conduct outreach to agents/GAs ( recruit new agents, manage existing relationships)10.
Work with Commission team to market and administer bonuses and sales promotions11.
Other duties as assigned Requirements: ¿ Must be detail oriented and extremely organized¿ Office and employee management work experience¿ Experience in individual life or health insurance desired¿ Excellent verbal and written communication skills¿ Must communicate with agents and GAs clearly and concisely, while also maintaining utmost professionalism and customer service.
