TITLE: Biomedical Tech - 12221 LOCATION: 5959 Shallowford Rd. Ste 337 DURATION: 1 month; 15 hrs/wk JOB DESCRIPTION · Overall responsibility for the safe, effective and efficient advanced servicing of a wide variation of Hill-Rom or customer owned medical devices in accordance with Hill-Roms policies or Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) specifications.
· Other duties may be assigned: Ability to perform all responsibilities of the Biomedical Technician I.
· Advanced understanding of the biomedical industry and its devices allows for ability to independently complete complex repairs on biomedical equipment.
· Daily activities are often performed within the customer facility and/or on a warranty or fee-for-service basis.
· Ability to work in multi-sites: Asset Advantage, customer locations, service centers or depots.
· Effectively plan for unscheduled repairs · Advanced understanding and compliance of all regulatory policies.
· Advanced understanding of biomedical-related contracts.
· Effectively lead groups or teams in problem identification and problem solving.
· Collaborates and communicates effectively with Sales, co-workers other departments and customers.
· Ensure compliance with all regulatory policies.
· Promote and sustain a safe work environment and continuous improvement.
· Be able to identify safety concerns and correct as necessary.
· Maintains a clean and safe work environment.
· Safety training, meeting and medical testing requirements are kept up-to-date.
· Operates safely and within guidelines or regulations.
· Demonstrates a pro-active approach towards safety, health, and quality in compliance with all Company, governmental and customer regulations.
· All other duties as assigned.
