Benefits Administrator Job in Los Angeles 90001, California US
DescriptionThe Benefits Administrator has primary responsibility for administration of one or more benefit plans, which may include leave of absence administration and 401(k) plan administration.
Specific responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Providing customer support for benefits team members and staff members regarding a variety of benefit issuesGenerating and reviewing a variety of reports, such as benefits eligibility reportsDeveloping analyses of benefits usage and costs, primarily through HRIS and ExcelAssisting in resolution of complex individual eligibility cases and/or appealsHelping ensure compliance with all governmental regulations related to benefit programs, including ERISA reporting and disclosure requirements, FMLA, HIPAAWorking on special projects as assignedQualificationsA minimum of 3-5 years experience working in benefits to include at least 2 years experience with 401(k) and 2 years experience working on health and welfare plans.
Previous experience with HRIS and report writing program, Lawson preferred.
Must be highly computer literate to include proficiency in MS Office SuiteFamiliarity with payroll systems a plusStrong written and verbal communication skillsBi-lingual Spanish a plusExperience working with automated systems and outside vendors preferredExperience in a multi-state, large scale operating environment highly desirablePossess the ability to work with all levels of staff proactively and positivelyCBP or CEBS a plus
