Today, CFG Health Systems maintains a staff of over 300 professionals and is responsible for the healthcare management at scores of facilities throughout New Jersey and the Delaware Valley.
CFG Health Systems provides a full range of medical and behavioral health care services to hospitals and correctional facilities including: * Medical Services * Psychiatric and Psychological Services * Management Consulting * Comprehensive Program Design and Development * On Site Education * Policy Development * Employee Assistance Programs * Officer and Correctional Based Services * Telemedicine * Professional Staffing * Accreditation * Quality Assurance CFG is now interviewing candidates for both Full Time and Part Time Behavioral Care Specialist opportunities located within the company's Intensive Residential Treatment Programs in Camden, New Jersey.
Population: Adolescents, Male & Female.
These programs offer intensive, individualized, educational, therapeutic, supportive and rehabilitative services.

Shifts: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM & 11:00 PM - 7:30 AM. Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following: Serve as primary Counselor and support person for all residents Supervise, observe and participate with residents to carry out daily routines (ie meals, school, chores, etc.) Assist residents in resolving personal problems and/or conflicts by responding in a therapeutic and supportive way to provide them with alternatives to unacceptable or negative behaviors Attend and participate in treatment/behavior management team meetings with staff.
Conduct authorized room searches of residents, property, common areas and lockers.
Accurately record all information required, i.
e., daily log, critical incident reports, etc. Complete resident intake forms and complete all tasks associated with new admission Communicate and coordinate with outside agencies, providers, parents, guardians and others as designated by Program Director.
Properly and accurately dispenses all medication and documents in Medical Log Escort residents to hospital, doctor, dentist, home visit and/or court appearances on behalf of facility and family Attend weekly/monthly supervision and staff meetings Drives program's vehicles as requested Qualifications: BS Degree in Psychology or related field.
Minimum (2) years experience working with children or adolescents in a group, mental health or residential setting.
Valid Driver's License required.
