Bank IT - Loan IQ Interface Developer Job in New York, New York US
Our client is a growing organization impacting every part of the MS franchise.
The Lending group, with key operations centers in New York and London, comprises a rapidly expanding portion of the Banking business.
The objectives of the Global Loan and Bank Operations teams are to support the expanding nature of the Bank as they build out multi-level lending products and solutions.
These operations teams are supported by a global technology team based in NY and London.
To support the business demand, the technology team, in very close partnership with the business unit, must build a series of interfaces, extensions, and reporting mechanisms that allow the commercial loan servicing system (Loan IQ) to: Send and receive different payment types including Wires, ACH, and ChecksEnhance Loan IQ to receive and display data from external systems / sourcesTrack owner occupied real-estate information that is related to loansExtract and provide loan information to ancillary systemsDefine and create reports, interfaces, and delivery mechanismsThe focus of this technology role will include: Defining and building efficient and functional User InterfacesIntegrating applications and providing for data exchanges between applicationsEngaging users to identify requirements, direction, and issuesUnderstanding client growth and demand to ensure systems and infrastructure scale to meet demandWorking closely with users and engineering teams to define the best possible solutionsSkills Required: Superior knowledge of underlying Loan IQ data model and componentsStrong knowledge of Loan IQ APIsGood C# and/or Java skillsStrong Database design and optimization skillsPerlWorking knowledge of UNIX / LinuxExperience in designing and deploying user-friendly front-endsExperience supporting distributed systems in a highly complex, high urgency environmentAbility to troubleshoot / follow a methodical approach to problem resolutionInterpersonal skills / good verbal and written skills required to interact with global teamsStrong team player required to work alongside Business Analysts, Users, and Application Programming Group (APG) TeamsA highly motivated, analytical thinking individualProblem solving skills and the ability to multi-taskSkills Desired: Ability to manage work and plan deliverables (project planning) in a structured mannerData extraction, transformation skills / techniques (Informatica would be a plus)Commercial Lending knowledge
