Help improve operational performance by analyzing, understanding and translating business needs into business/technical requirements, as you conduct detailed research, and perform analysis necessary to identify viable solution alternatives.
Responsibilities will also include:
supporting the Business Requirements Gathering process
delivering work estimates to client(s)
creating technical documents and high level solution designs
participating in the complete system development life cycle
utilizing the appropriate tools to follow the business requirements documentation process
handling other related functions as necessaryBeyond exceptional analytical and business skills, you must possess a Bachelors Degree, and 4-6 years of related IT work experience, preferably within the health insurance industry.
Must have experience with a data warehouse and SQL, knowledge of data modeling, ability to gather Business Requirements (BRD), ability to write a Technical Requirement (TRD) and the ability to lead Multiple projects.
Experience with AIX, DB2, COGNO
8. x and SAS EBI is desired.
Also, must have technical writing skills and ability to communicate with the business community.
Knowledge of system development life cycles, implementation methodologies, structured query languages or analysis techniques, and an understanding of core business functions is required.
Solid project management, oral/written communication, decision-making and leadership skills will also be expected.
