BI/DW Architect Job in ATLANTA, Georgia US
The BI/Warehousing Architect will provide senior-level business analysis and technical leadership in our new BI efforts.
This person will work with our Architecture and Reporting Team to design data warehouses and reporting solutions.
The expectation is for this person to provide technical leadership and guidance as well as provide hands on implementation, delivery and training for our permanent staff.
Perform an initial assessment of the current implementation and make recommendations for a short-term and long-term strategy for operationalizing the reporting infrastructure.
Serve as Technical Lead on the project including recommending tools, design and process changes.
Oversee ETL Contractor Developer and provide quality assurance on development.
Facilitate the completion of the data warehouse project to including assistance in creation and maintenance of project plans, tracking of all technical issues and creation of status reports.
Provide sustainability support model for data warehouse and documents.
Plan, coordinate and perform appropriate quality assurance testing.
Assist in training of the full-time employees for the project.
Educate client management and business users on business value and capabilities of data warehousing.
Provide advice and guidance on data warehousing approaches and solutions, and use of data warehousing methodology.
