Asst Dir, Development - Emory College Job in Atlanta, Georgia US
JOB DESCRIPTION: Assists in the development of fund raising strategies for new and existing programs.
Researches prospective benefactors.
Drafts fund-raising proposals, reports, grants and correspondence.
Organizes conferences, colloquia, dinners, courses/lectures, speakers and other events.
Participates in fund-raising efforts.
Coordinates the preparation and production of newsletters and journals.
Maintains information on selected donors and prospects.
Maintains mailing lists and supervises mailings.
Performs related responsibilities as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: A bachelor's degree.
Two years of experience in a related field.
Additional Job Details Coordinates the Emory College Alumni Board and serves as the College liaison with the Emory Alumni Board and Emory Alumni Association.
Manages a portfolio of alumni leaders and volunteers.
Assists in the development of strategies for new and existing alumni relations programs.
Serves as liaison for Reunion Giving, and Class Giving programs; and manages the online newsletter and other related alumni correspondence.
Performs related responsibilities as required.
