Alicos branches and subsidiaries, stretching from Japan to Europe, Middle East, Latin America, and the Caribbean, provide a wide range of wealth management, retirement planning, life and health insurance solutions to millions of individuals and corporate customers around the world.

The associate HR Generalist will support domestic client groups on a range of human resources activities including payroll and benefits inquiries, employee relations counseling, recruiting, compensation and training and development initiatives.

The position is based in Wilmington, Delaware and reports to the Director of Human Resources.

Primary Role:
Research and resolve employee questions regarding payroll and benefits, including oversight and tracking of employee leaves of absence.

In doing so, interact with a Corporate Payroll and Benefits, ensuring timely and accurate communication of information to employees.


Work with managers and employees to resolve performance management and/or employee relations issues, ensuring adherence to HR policies and practices.

As necessary, provide analysis for workforce planning and trends.


In collaboration with managers, conduct candidate interviews for administrative and entry-level professional positions.

Provide value-added input selection and compensation decisions and ensure compliance with all hiring laws.


Conduct needed analyses to identify training and development requirements.

Partner with Corporate Training and Development to identify viable solutions and coordinate related communications, logistics, and tracking.


Provide support to HR business Partners as needed and participate in location-wide HR initiatives as requested.

Strategic Initiatives:
Employee Engagement as a member of the HR team, participate in a location-wide employee engagement survey initiative by responding to employee/manager inquiries, coordinating communication efforts, contributing to data analysis and reporting, and facilitating action planning efforts.


Organizational Development as a member of the HR team, participate in thee talent acquisition and infrastructural build-out of corporate functions, including on-boarding and assimilation practices, team effectiveness initiatives and location-wide communication and engagement activities.

This position is located in Wilmington, Delaware.

Relocation will be considered on a case by case basis.
