Associate Director, Clinical Operations Job in Boston 02108, Massachusetts US
Our client, an Oncology focused biopharmaceutical company in the Boston area, currently has an opening for an Associate Director of Clinical Operations.
They are ideally looking for a candidate with a strong Oncology background who is used to working in a small company, "hands on" environment.
The company has an excellent benefits package, with 11 paid holidays, 3 week vacation and company paid parking.
The ideal candidate will have: - RN/BS/Masters in a scientific/medical discipline.
- A minimum of ten years drug development experience including collaborative responsibility with an NDA project.
- Extensive experience interacting with Contract Research Organizations, international regulatory officials, and clinical investigators, and a proven track record of success as a team player is a must.
- Oncology experience is highly preferred.
- Excellent time management skills and the ability to deal with people, combined with the capacity to be firm on timeliness.
The new Associate Director, Clinical Operations must be a very hands on, detail oriented, in-the-trenches kind of individual.
He/she must be able to deal effectively with different types of site and vendor issues, and communicate effectively with the Clinical Operations team, colleagues, contractors, etc.The Companys clinical trials programs are at a very critical point heading toward Pivotal trials to commence in 2010.
It is essential that these studies be managed in a highly rigorous fashion to insure that the process stays under total control until its completion.
This means that the new The Associate Director, Clinical Operations must be the kind of individual with the energy, focus and intelligence to achieve mastery of all of these details.
Outstanding Project Management skills are a must.
Microsoft Project, Excel, and Powerpoint skills are required.
Data Management experience is strongly preferred.
