Position Description: This function is responsible for insurance premium collections.
Positions in this function contact customers to determine reason for payment delinquency.
Negotiate and advise on collection of overdue bills and take appropriate action to recover overdue paymentsHandle unresolved inquiries/issuesResponsible for developing, implementing, maintaining and managing organization policies on collection practicesMay work with outside legal counsel and/or outside agencies in more complex collection cases Bring your talent to an industry leader with the information, technology, and consulting expertise to help transform health and human services.

Qualifications: 3 years experience interacting and providing customer service to clients/patients in resolving their issues or concerns 3 years experience working in an administrative or clerical role within a hospital or physician office setting 6 months knowledge or familiarity with billing (i.
e., coding - candidate will not be coding) Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook Healthcare industry experience is a plus High school education or equivalent experience Diversity creates a healthier atmosphere: equal opportunity employer M/F/D/V UnitedHealth Group is a drug-free workplace.
