Source, interview, and assist in the selection of qualified candidates.
Complete a variety of functions to develop the recruitment process of quality candidates to fill a variety of positions including professional, supervisory, highly technical and mid to upper management positions.
Source potential candidates through a variety of methods including cold calling, advertising, agencies and referrals.
Write and place all advertisements, sourcing, and establishing recruiting contacts with the community.
Develop and maintain effective personnel advertising programs for the purpose of maintaining high visibility with potential labor markets.
Recruit students at various college levels by participating in and conducting campus career fairs, information sessions, and other recruiting events.
Work with colleges on internship programs and recruitment and conversions of intern candidates.
Work with Manager and other team members to develop and implement recruitment strategies.
Assist with a variety of department and Company wide projects, including employee surveys, applicant tracking, department audits, diversity projects, job enrichment training and department research.
Complete other responsibilities, as assigned.
Ensure hiring, promotions and job change practices are in line with Company philosophy and commitment to diversity and equality.
Ensure practices follow HR regulatory compliance.
Ensure compliance, operational risk controls in accordance with HSBC or regulatory standards and policies; and optimize relations with regulators by addressing any issues.
Promote an environment that supports diversity and reflects the HSBC brand.
Maintain HSBC internal control standards, including timely implementation of internal and external audit points together with any issues raised by external regulators.
Basic Qualifications: Bachelors degree in human resources, business, related field or equivalent work experience Minimum of five years proven employment recruiting experience, or equivalent Well-developed interpersonal, organizational, analytical, decision-making, negotiation, problem-solving and verbal and written communication skills Working knowledge of current government regulations related to employment (ie EEOC, ADA, ADEA, EPA, EOE, FLSA, and other related federal or state regulations) Proficiency with personal computers as well as pertinent mainframe systems and software packages Good understanding of current HR system and demonstrated ability to complete queries and collect, evaluate, analyze, and organize data relating to HR functions into logical, useful formatSee Job DescriptionBenefits: HSBC is a pay for performance company with policies and programs designed to ensure all employees receive fair and equitable compensation based on performance.
