Department The JP Morgan Chase Audit Department is accountable to the Audit and Examining Committee of the Board of Directors, the Office of the Chairman, senior management and our global and local regulators.

The global Audit Department has approximately 500 auditors.

As one of the key control functions in JP Morgan Chase & Co, the Audit Department is an independent risk assessment function established within JP Morgan Chase & Co to evaluate, test, and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of management systems of internal controls.

The Central Technology group provides global audit coverage for multiple technology organizations within JP Morgan that consist of Global Technology Infrastructure (GTI), Corporate Internet Group (CIG) and the Information Technology Risk Management team (ITRM).

GTI delivers a wide range of technology services for the firm globally and partners with all lines of business.

CIG is responsible for partnering with lines of business to deliver web-enable services and strategy for the firm.

ITRM provides IT risk services for the firm including, governance of firmwide IT risk programs, primary interface with regulatory agencies, and oversight of the various IT Controls initiatives across the firm.

Position Description The Central Technology Team is looking for an individual looking to be challenged and work in a hands-on fast paced global environment.

The candidate will bring knowledge of technology processes and controls as well as project management skills to be able to effectively lead global audits.

The position will partner with team members and other business areas to develop risk and control assessments through audit activities for leading services and technologies.

Responsibilities Participate in all aspects of audit activities including risk assessments, planning, testing, evaluation, report creation, documentation, and determining effectiveness of the risk mitigation plans.

Present results of the audit assessment of the control environment to senior Audit and Central Technology management.

Provide Guidance and audit execution for assessment of key technology controls.

Work with management to develop tools to perform automated auditing.

Assist in the development and analysis of key metrics to identify trends in technology operations.

Partner with colleagues, clients and control community members to evaluate, test and report on the adequacy and effectiveness of controls in relation to the associated risk.

This may be achieved through specific audit reviews or direct participation in key technology projects.

Partner with other groups within the firm (Investment Bank, Retail, Private Bank, Card Services, etc.) to ensure the delivery of a seamless program of control and risk coverage across JPMorgan Chase.

4 or more years of relevant experience in audit or riskExperience in technology process review to identify key risks and determine effectiveness of underlying controlsKnowledge of Distributed Technologies, Mainframe, or Midrange systems a plusKnowledge of operations center processes and monitoring programs a plusExperience in process improvements projects and/or re-engineering well regardedStrong project management skillsEnthusiastic, self-motivated, willing to be challenged and take personal responsibilityEffective verbal and written communication skillsAbility to build strong partnerships across the technology and business teamsManage multiple tasks concurrently and execute audit activities with minimal supervisionCISA/CISSP/PMP preferredBachelor's degree in Technology/Accounting/Finance/Business
