Assistant Store Manager Job in Staten Island 10309, New York US

We are currently seeking dedicated Assistant Store Managers for our stores in Staten Island South Shore Commons, SI, Hylan Blvd, SI West Shore Plaza, SI As an Assistant Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of running the store.
Our training department has implemented a program that will start you on your path to success.
Our organization believes in developing associates into leaders and has been extremely successful with promoting from within.

Responsibilities:
Communicate with the Management team and all associates to ensure the store is operating efficiently.
Ability to uphold company standards and goals.
Adhere to all company merchandising standards throughout the building.
Utilize all reports to drive business.
Control expenses to maximize profit.
Monitor payroll and the profit and loss statement.
Execute all company receiving procedures and policies.
Responsible for proper staffing within the store.
Train, supervise and inspire all full time and part time associates.
Ensure customer satisfaction by providing excellent customer service and responding to customer needs and market trends.
Communicate with store associates and keep them informed.
Execute all Human Resource and Loss Prevention policies as per company direction.
Develop relationships with organizations to support company goal of becoming the hometown sporting goods store.
Skills and experience:
College degree preferred or 1-3 years retail management experience.
Outstanding customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong selling and leadership skills.
Strong problem solving ability and analytical skills
Good attention to detail · The Ability to manage, motivate, and develop other assonates · Strong initiative and self-motivation Benefits:
