Knowledge of loss sensitive programs and pricing including deductibles, self-insured retention, full coverage retention, and deductible buy-back.
Strong contacts within the National Accounts brokerage community and familiarity with DMS a plus.
Must have strong communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
Education: Some CollegeExperience: 3-5 yearsDescription: Chartis has an opportunity for an Assistant Regional Underwriting Manager in its WorldSource Domestic Casualty division.The key responsibilities for this position are as follows: Manage and grow the National Accounts and Risk Management book of business in the WorldSource Domestic Casualty division which currently exceeds $20M in premium.
National Accounts are defined as insureds with revenues in excess of $500M.
Foster the relationships with the National Accounts broker teams including Aon, Willis, Marsh, Lockton, and other brokers in the Chicago Region, Indiana, Illinois, Wisconsin, Minnesota, Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, South Dakota and North Dakota.Act as a referral source for underwriters who are handling National and Risk Management Accounts and eventually have direct management of National Accounts team.
Audit files for departmental and regulatory compliance.
Cultivate a cross-sell strategy within and outside of WorldSource.
