We are a full truckload, irregular route carrier providing service to all 48 states, Canada and Mexico.As our southern California Area Sales Director, your primary mission will be to maximize equipment utilization through new business development as well as managing existing accounts.
Previous experience in the transportation industry will serve you well as you will be expected to sell over-the-road, brokerage and intermodal transportation services.
This isn't a 9-5 job as majority of your time will be spent traveling to customer sites managing the loading and unloading of trucks as well as arranging customer events outside of normal business hours.
Your strong self-motivation and insatiable desire to win coupled with your outgoing personality will give you what it takes to ensure customer satisfaction.
Solid Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook and Excel, and general computer knowledge are a must as you will be required to prepare weekly reports and learn our company software.
