Apps Dev Technical Specialist Job in Warren 07059, New Jersey US
Our client, a LEADER in the Capital Markets industry has the following consulting opportunity available through RMS Computer Corporation working onsite at our client on the following project.
NO AGENCIES PLEASE LOCAL CANDIDATES ONLY Knowledge/Experience: The candidate should have a working knowledge in the following areas: Design and development of high performance distributed systems utilizing grid computingBusiness domain modeling and database design (operational and warehouse)Design and development of the data persistence layers utilizing Spring and Hibernate frameworksDesign and development of web services utilizing REST/SOAP protocols, with strong understanding of at least one WS frameworkStrong Java experience with some exposure to Perl, Python, C/C++, and shell languagesStrong working knowledge of SQL and one of the major databasesUnderstanding of various Web technologies and frameworksUnderstanding and application of design patternsSoftware design with UML The candidate should have a reasonable understanding of Fixed Income, Commodities and Currencies financial products.
Familiarity with Risk and Margin concepts is a plus.
Skills: Good communication skills are required as the project involves interaction and collaboration with multiple Front, Middle, and Back Office business/technology groups Strong analytical skills are required as this group supports risk management and margining function Candidate should also demonstrate leadership qualities in driving technical excellence within their team.
Qualifications: The candidate should have 5+ yrs of experience working in Front Office/Middle Office space and have at least 2 years of experience in performing technical architecture and providing technical leadership to the development team.
