Application Development Team Lead Job in 43209
Application Development Team Lead Capital University, a mid-size, comprehensive, private university whose community values of diversity and free inquiry are strongly promoted within the Lutheran tradition of higher education is seeking an Application Development Team Lead to support, maintain and develop Capital University's Applications environment including: Student Information System (Datatel Colleague), Web Applications, Reporting, and Databases.
This person will implement best-practice software development lifecycle processes, mentor team members, work closely with end-users to define needs and deliver solutions, and anticipate and adapt to new university business requirements to meet department and institutional goals.
This position will also deliver hands-on programming and support.
Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Information Systems or a related field or an equivalent combination of education and experience required; Minimum of five years of work-related experience, preferably in a university environment ; Technical skills will include excellent skills in Datatel Colleague, WebAdvisor, Envision, UNIX, SQL queries; and Microsoft Office.
