Application Developer Job in Long Island 11747, New York US
Description: Possess skills in application usage, technical architecture, interfaces, functionality and business utility.For new and existing applications and project initiatives, work with development teams to gather and translate requirements into a solution architecture.
Incumbent should be able to ensure that the solution architecture is translated into high quality, maintainable, extensible, scalable, secure and efficient code that follows established development guidelines.
- Responsible for coding, testing and analyzing application software.
- Support and maintain SQL Databases, including debugging issues- Consults with project teams and functional units on the design of important projects or services.
- Responsible for documenting technical requirements for business applications.
- Works on moderately complex projects.
- Works independently on assigned tasks.

Qualifications: Minimum - Computer Science Degree, high GPA and technical abilitiesPreferable up to 3 years IT experience, including hands-on development experience in a Microsoft development environment,.
Thorough knowledge of both object-oriented and procedural languages, as well as RDBMS, SQL Server (SSIS, SSRS, Stored Procedures), ASP.net VB.net and C# knowledge.
Knowledge of information technology, including but not limited to: on-line transaction processing, web development, middleware, rules engines, RDBMS, service-oriented architecture, network communication and information security.
