VISUAL MARKET MANAGERVisual Market Manager elevates visual execution within all store types in assigned markets.
Their responsibility is to act as a resource, trainer and communicator of information to manage and elevate visual consistency.
The VMM is responsible for communicating global messages regarding brand merchandising strategies and initiatives in assigned markets.
Ensure brand and visual merchandising consistency is upheld in the market.
Reinforce brand standards and the use of best practices consistently throughout the market.
Identify market opportunities and issues and develop solutions that have the potential to impact top line sales and profitability.
Provide clarification and direction to the market regarding presentation/product initiatives.
Collect feedback and offer future recommendations regarding store presentation and marketing initiatives.
Trouble shoot concept flows, windows, business strategies and creative needs for stores.
Ensure that the field understands merchandising strategies and the key messages of each store roll out. Deliver in season and seasonal hindsight relating to product, presentation and competition to RVP. In partnership with the RVP and DM’s, communicate the global Brand message.
Reinforce how company goals and objectives relate to product and visual merchandising for the market.
Facilitate store set presentation workshops, meetings and conference calls within their market Identify and develop training opportunities to build visual merchandising skills in the market.
Build constructive, effective relationships throughout the Region, District and Corporate Headquarters to align support for visual merchandising and brand initiatives.
Communicate with peers and relevant business partners to share creative ideas and best practices.
Qualifications: Minimum three years retail visual management experience in a multi store capacity.
Excellent visual and merchandising skills, strong ability to interpret visual presentation direction.
Creative and strategic thinker with a strong understanding of business strategies.
Strong understanding of the customer and how visual merchandising supports an exceptional customer experience and drives business.
Ability to influence at all levels and the ability to clearly communicate a compelling point of view.
Ability to work independently with minimal direction.
Proven success building, leading, motivating, and developing teams.
Proven problem solving and decision making skills.
Ability to plan, prioritize and organize.
Knowledge of the competition, the industry and market.
Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word, Excel) and digital camera skills.
Ability to work flexible hours to meet the needs of the business.
Ability to travel (at least 75%) to meet the needs of the business.
