Electrical/Airworthiness Engineer-Aerospace and Defense Group is hiring an Electrical/Airworthiness Engineer to provide airworthiness and qualification engineering support to our Customer.

We are looking for someone with experience in the following areas: -Aviation background -AH64 Apache Helicopter experience a plus- DoD Rotary winged or fixed wing aviation experience preferred, although Civil aviation is also acceptable -Familiarity with reviews of the following: Apache airworthiness documents- qualification test plans and reports- sustainment documents- Apache system safety issues and risk management assessmentsDuties and Responsibilities

1. Primary duties will include working all electrical engineering issues pertaining to airworthiness as follows: systems engineering issues with flight controls, software, communication, navigation, common aircraft electrical systems, and weapon systems for AH64 Apache helicopters.

Will be responsible for facilitating communications between the Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED) Apache Division and the Prototype Integration Facility (PIF) on an as needed basis.

The primary responsibility will be to provide updates to the Apache Division on projects that the PIF is working on for Apache, and act as a liaison between Apache AED Support Division and the Apache Program Office2 Will also provide advice, recommendations, analyses or other input to Government engineers on technical integration of engineering design, test and airworthiness qualification requirements for the development, production, critical modifications, Electrical/Airworthiness Engineer-Aerospace and Defense Group is hiring an Electrical/Airworthiness Engineer to provide airworthiness and qualification engineering support to our Customer.

Education and Experience

1. BSEE Electrical Engineering or higher2.

Must have a minimum of 15 years of experience3 A general understanding of the airworthiness qualification process would be beneficial.
