Advisory Data Spec Job in New York City 10017, New York US
Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center is a world renowned organization dedicated to the progressive control and cure of cancer through programs of patient care, research, and education.
Work as an integral part of a Business Intelligence and data mining team responsible for hospital-wide reporting and data integration solutions.
Work closely with MSKCC clinicians, researchers and operational staff to ensure their data reporting requirements are met and to develop and implement institution-wide BI strategies and solutions using the latest data delivery technologies.
We require: *Bachelor's degree or equivalent, over 5 years of Business Intelligence and Data/Business Analyst experience.
*Business intelligence expertise including BI architecture, report development, BI tool administration and meta-data management experience required.
*Cognos experience preferred, strong SQL skills required, including knowledge of at least one data analysis tool such as SAS, Access, Business Objects, Crystal Reports, QMF. *Experience in health care environment a plus.
*Experience with PC tools, word processing, database, spreadsheets, graphics and MS Office.
*Strong analytical and problem solving skills; excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and to manage several projects at the same time.
Hours: 9:00AM to 5:00PM, Monday thru Friday.
Available for on-call coverage (24/7) and weekend implementations as needed.
