Recruitment For: ADMINISTRATIVE SPECIALIST II (G02016 ) CONTRACTUAL NO BENEFITS Salary Range: $14.
48 Per Hour - $22.
74 Per HourEntry Level: $14.
48 Per Hour - $17.
29 Per Hour Closing Date: March 23, 2010 Position Duties: This position works independently and conducts analysis, measurements, and difficult evaluation of criminal justice data in order to review, research, correct and update errors which prohibit CJIS-CR from achieving US Department of Justice III and NFF compliance levels.
This position will research all available databases to develop a baseline for analyzing the completeness and accuracy of arrests and dispositions in the Marylands criminal history database.
This position will investigate discrepancies and will be able to determine the necessary course of action to correct the Maryland criminal history database and will compose correspondence recommending corrective actions.
Also will have the authority to initiate and document approved corrective actions in the Maryland criminal history database.
Write and compose correspondence to the FBI to initiate corrective actions in the NCIC database as needed.
This position will have the responsibility of maintaining daily production reports.
Minimum Qualifications: Education: Completion of 60 credit hours at an accredited college or university.
Experience: One year of experience in administrative or professional work.
Notes
1. Applicant may substitute experience as defined above for required education at the rate of one year of experience for 30 credit hours for up to 60 credit hours of required education.
2. Applicants may substitute 90 credit hours at an accredited college or university for the required education and experience.
Selective Qualifications: One year work experience with the NCIC and CJIS databases.
Licenses, Registration and Certificates: Candidates appointed to positions in this classification will be assigned duties which may require the operation of a motor vehicle.
Employees assigned such duties will be required to possess a motor vehicle operators license valid in the State of Maryland.
