Administrative Assistant Job in Addison 60601, Illinois US
Privately held manufacturing firm currently has a direct hire need for an Administrative Assistant to support the CEO and President of the firm.
Main responsibilities will include the following: Light typing and correspondence for CEO, President and General Counsel.
Typing done from hand written outline or verbal instruction/outline/dictation.
Assist in Front office/reception area ( 1 of a three person front office team consisting of receptionist, administrative assistant, and communications/marketing manager).
Share in covering phones, mail, packages, greeting guests, relaying messages to executives.
Keep logs of calls and incoming packages.
Read, distribute and respond to emails for CEO/Owner.
Maintain CEO contacts and calendar.
Arrange some executive travel and corporate meetings.
Print/copy/scan marketing and financial materials and distribute monthly.
Periodic mailings to contact lists.
Maintain stock of printed media for sales/marketing.
Scan and file documents and keep files organized.
Assist in general needs of all personnel in corporate office and attend to daily schedule and tasks of CEO and President.
To apply for this position the ideal candidate will have five plus years of administrative experience.
Must have strong MS Office skills and Outlook.
Ability to work in a small office environment, and ability to take direction well.
College degree a plus.
