Job Description:This accounts receivables Position Features:Immediate need for accounts receivables assistant processing lockbox and customer payments into AS400. Application of cash to customer accounts. Maintain daily report of cash application on Excel spreadsheets. Reconcile invoice/payment disputes or discrepancies early so as to minimize aging of accounts. Direct communication with customer to resolve discrepancies. Maintain up-to-date, detailed notes, and accurate records on accounts worked. Interacts with Sales support, customer service and accounts receivable in reconciling accounts job Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: College degree preferred. 5 years of accounting, accounts payable or accounts receivable experience. Strong 10-key skills required. MS Excel, MS Word. Must have understanding of accounting principles. Excellent customer care skills. Knowledge and practice in account receivables and account reconciliations. Good problem solving skills required. Requires motivation, communication, time management and organizational skills.
