Accounts Payable Processor Job in Salt Lake City 84104, Utah US
Location: UT - Salt Lake CityEducation Required: Not IndicatedExperience Required: Not IndicatedPosition Description: This position reports to the Accounts Payable Manager and interfaces with external vendors as well as many different departments and management levels within Boart Longyear.
The Accounts Payable processor is responsible for invoice processing and payments, assisting in maintenance of vendor relationships, vendor statement reconciliations and basic administrative duties in a multi regional team oriented environment.
Essential Job Functions/Duties%E2%80%A2 Accurately process a high volume of invoices for payment, ensuring all invoices are properly approved and entered into our accounting system.
%E2%80%A2 Research and follow up on statements with balance forward items ensuring payments are in transit or open items are resolved.
%E2%80%A2 Handle vendor calls and inquiries.
%E2%80%A2 Perform special projects as assigned.
%E2%80%A2 Maintain a high degree of professionalism at all times.
%E2%80%A2 Assist in various capacities with upcoming Oracle implementation.
Position Requirements: %E2%80%A2 Education minimum: high school diploma; Associates Degree a plus; AP Certification a plus%E2%80%A2 Two to three years of experience in an accounts payable role, preferably in a multi regional organization.
%E2%80%A2 High level of data entry accuracy a must.
%E2%80%A2 Ability to prioritize, handle multiple tasks simultaneously and meet established deadlines in a fast paced environment.
%E2%80%A2 Self-motivated, customer service-focused, detail oriented and flexible.
%E2%80%A2 Ability to work additional hours as needed.
