Accounting Coordinator Job in Los Angeles, California US

We have an immediate need for an experienced Accounting Coordinator in our Los Angeles, CA office.
Relocation reimbursement for this position is NOT available.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIE
1. Accounts Payable Input & Code Vendor & Credit Card Bills; Process Weekly Bill Payment
2. Payroll Processing Process Hourly and Salaried Employee
3. Employee Expenses Process Employee Expenses and Weekly Expense Reimbursement
4. Bank Reconciliation Reconcile Bank and Credit Card accounts on a monthly basi
5. Time & Billing System Help with new project setup and time & expense revie
6. Financial Reporting Aid with schedules and account analysis for management reporting and financial statement preparatio
7. Administrative and HR assistance as required.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRE
1. BA/BS Accounting, Finance or related fiel
2. Two to five years of progressive accounting or bookkeeping experience in a small to medium company.
3. Experience with ADP or Paychex is a plus.
4. Highly proficient with QuickBooks Pro and Microsoft Office REQUIRED.
5. Prior experience in a professional services organization is a plus.
6. Experience with finance, accounting and cost control principles including Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) is a plus.
7. Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems.
8. Ability to analyze financial data and prepare insightful reports.
9. Excellent professional written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
This hands-on position will require continuous involvement in the day to day accounting function.
