DLB Associates is seeking a team-oriented, highly motivated Accountant for our headquarters in Eatontown, NJ. For over 20 years, dlb has differentiated its services from that of its competition by utilizing an approach that "Translates Needs Into Solutions".

We offer full service Engineering Consulting, Management and Construction services in the US and abroad.

This position will be required to: Participate in month end and year end close processes.

Provide supporting documentation for monthly billing.

Complete account reconciliations.

Perform various monthly indirect rate analyses.

Maintain job costing system and establish new job costing projects.

Ensure accounting systems and general ledger accounts are adequate to track direct and indirect costs.

Ensure cost accounting standards are met as needed.

Minimum requirements for this position include: A Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or related discipline.

CPA preferred.

A minimum of 10 years general ledger accounting experience.

Experience in an Architectural / Engineering firm.

Thorough understanding of regulations in an accounting environment required.

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

Computer proficiency in applications within MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).

Touch typing skills preferred; ability to effectively and quickly communicate using the computer.

The ability to work independently or in a team environment effectively.

The ability to work in a fast-paced, challenging environment.

Excellent organization skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
