ACCOUNT REPRESENTATIVE (Inside Sales) OVERVIEW: Our Plano, Texas location is looking for an Account Representative (AR) to be the key day-to-day contact for all our sales and customer support activities.
Assigned to a team working collaboratively to support given territories or markets, the Account Representative applies his or her excellent customer service skills and system knowledge to meet the daily needs of the customer.
Bilingual in Spanish & English desired.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Customer Service: -Respond to customer requests for information in a timely manner.
-Answer customer telephone calls, providing technical information and addressing and resolving inquiries and problems.
-Process incoming mail, email, leads and faxes, responding to customer needs and requests.
-Sell Company products to customers, either by promoting products with existing customers or by following up on referrals to prospective customers.
-Work with the Account Manager (AM) to develop quotes.
-Expedite customer orders.
-Work independently, makes solid contributions on a daily basis with minimal direct supervision.
Sales Opportunities: -Share with the AM opportunities to introduce IEWC services to customers -Identify opportunities to cross-sell or up-sell products and services while working with the existing customer.
Introduce products and services and identify follow-up time for the AM. Clerical Duties: -Process customer orders and confirmations on our computer system.
-Fill requests for catalogs, samples and giveaways.
-Assemble or print catalogs or advertising materials, as needed.
-Perform filing activities and information retrieval, as needed.
-Update price lists in the computerized system -Accuracy and completeness through all means of communication Sales Data: -Maintain accurate and updated data within 20/20 Vision.
-As requested, create and run sales reports and mailing lists.
-Complete and maintain all required paperwork, quotes, records, reports and documentation.
Marketing Support -Keep the Account Manager and Regional Manager informed about competitive products, promotional matters, sales techniques, pricing and marketing programs.
-Secure and communicate through 20/20 Vision growth opportunities uncovered through dialog with existing customers.
Personal & Team Development -Actively participate in opportunities to improve individual knowledge of the company, products, markets and systems.
-Follow a path of continuous improvement, using both internal and external resources to enhance technical knowledge and sales skill levels.
-Maintain technical competency and customer service skills.
Safety and Housekeeping: -Follow and comply with all safety and work rules and regulations.
Maintain departmental housekeeping standards.
QUALIFICATIONS INCLUDE: Education and/or Experience: An associates degree and one to three years of related experience; or a combination of education and experience.
Customer Service Knowledge: Exhibit an extraordinary yet appropriate sense of urgency on all customer related matters.
Confident in their knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer service.
This includes customer needs assessment, meeting quality standards for services, and evaluation of customer satisfaction.
Computer Applications Skills: Ability to work in a Windows environment and with standard current computer applications, such as work processing, spreadsheets and data bases.
Ability to gain proficiency in SAP and the CRM tool 20/20 Vision Language Skills: -Ability to effectively communicate information and respond to questions from both internal and external constituents on a timely basis.
Ability to read, analyze and interpret business and financial reports, general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures and governmental regulations.
Ability to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
-Ability to speak Spanish & English desired.
