Account Manager Job in Lombard 60148, Illinois US
USA Today, the Nation's Newspaper, has an Account Manager position available in the Chicago Region based in Lombard, IL. Position responsibilities include researching and selling targeted hotel, higher education and retails accounts, developing effective strategies and proposals that meet client objectives.
The ideal candidate will professionally, effectively and accurately represent USA Today in the marketplace, facilitating brand strength and credibility.
Excellent negotiating and decision-making skills are required.
Success is measured by ability to manage existing accounts to maximize profitable sales volumes while developing and securing new accounts for additional growth.
This is a fast paced environment, which requires excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills are required.
Previous hospitality experience is a plus in addition to familiarity with PC applications such as MS Office and Outlook.
2+ years business to business sales experience, college degree preferred.
