Account Manager / 2066 Job in Lansing 48915, Michigan US
Position Description: The Account Manager will focus on the training & support of our Formative Products in Michigan and California.
Formative Products help school districts, teachers and parents track student performance across three kinds of tests: state exams, district benchmarks, and classroom tests.
These products automatically grade tests and gives districts the data they need to improve classroom instruction and student performance.
This position will provide account management support in the following states: This position will provide support and implementation service to school districts to assist them in making excellent data driven decisions using a proven technology platform and other Riverside product offerings.
As the Account Manager your primary focus is to convert our customers into enthusiastic users so theyll continue to utilize our services.
After the initial sale, you will be the primary point of contact for the customer, maintaining and building the client relationship.
You will become an extension of their team working with teachers, principals, and administrators to help them improve their students learning and meet their educational needs in a distance learning environment.
- Deliver all planning and training sessions on time and with quality, with a primary focus on distance learning techniques.
- Manage and deliver distance learning implementations for small school districts including the launch of the technology platform, set up of the district in the system, identification of key contacts, scheduling of planning and training, issue resolution, and ongoing consulting.
- Ensure we hit group goals and work closely with team members to achieve them, such as renewals, training goals, and identification of expansion/up sell opportunities.
- Provide ongoing customer experience and perspective to the Account Management team.
- Work with Senior Account Management to set personal performance goals, which are aligned to company, departmental, and regional goals.
Qualifications: Position Requirements:
5+ years as a K-12 public classroom teacher or administrator
Knowledge about current educational climate, research and specific requirements in Michigan
Excellent presentation, organizational and time management skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong technical skills in using various web-browsers, MS Word and Excel
Must have a strong understanding of educational data including Michigan assessments, and reporting such as AYP.
Must be a quick learner
Must a have a good sense of humor
Ability to travel 50% of the time
Ability to work independently or in a team
BS or higher and a valid teacher credentialDesired Skills:
Understanding of adult learning theory
Understanding of the assessment and evaluation process at classroom, district and state levels.
