For over 35 years, the Engineering Division of Joule Technical Staffing has been dedicated to the placement of engineers, designers, drafters, and technical support personnel.
We offer staffing programs including contract, contract to direct, direct, and single source management of a client's engineering staffing requirements The Account /Executive I has primary responsibility for establishing qualified job orders with qualified clients using the Joule Technical Staffing Division's services.
This position will be our Engineering division.
Experience selling staffing solutions to engineering, architecture, manufacturing, or construction industries is preferred, but not required.
S/he is expected to contact the existing client base on a regular basis using a variety of methods such as on-going in person visits, phone contact, mail and electronic communications.
In addition, s/he is expected to vertically and horizontally market new business opportunities.
The Account Executive I is expected to service client companies on a regular basis and to meet the established quotas for completed calls, visits, and qualified orders both daily and weekly.
Required SkillsAbility to effectively present the resources and services of the Joule organization.
Ability to multi-task and switch gears while managing time efficiently in a fast paced environment.
Should have knowledge of Database, Internet, Spreadsheet and Word Processing software and the ability to produce a variety of required reports and use these tools to enhance the sales effort.
Possesses the ability to make professional sales presentations and negotiate with moderate amount of supervision or mentoring.
Has the ability to communicate in an influential and persuasive manner.
Ability to compute rate, percent, commissions, interest, and discounts.
Required ExperienceBachelor's Degree required with preferably a science or engineering emphasis (depending on opportunity available) and solid record of academic or industry related accomplishments.
Sales aptitude required and ability to feel comfortable in a fast paced sales focused environment requiring 75% business development activities and extensive communication with clients.
Knowledge or background from staffing industry desired, but not required.
Person should have the drive and desire to identify, develop and build Joule's market.
The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of successful general inside and/or outside sales experience and/or the predisposition to sell successfully.
