We're so much more than just a phone company!Working as a Senior Contract Manager, you will manage, negotiate, monitor and source vendor contracts/sub-contracts.
You will be responsible for providing interpretation of terms and conditions of contractual obligations as well as negotiate contract modifications, follow-up quotations, revisions, and terms and conditions with vendors.
Additional Responsibilities: Review and administer long-term and/or blanket purchase contractsCommercial contract issues, negotiations and/or administration of licensing agreements including renewal, new business, invoicing, credit holds, receivable issues and consolidationsAdminister contracts in accordance with company and customer policies and procedures, provide interpretation and analysis of contract documents and review and evaluate customer requests for changes in or revisions of contracts that involve technical specifications, cost, or schedule impact on the companyAssist in the development of long- and short-term objectives to ensure that programs and efforts are directed toward achieving company goalsMay initiate corrective action to assure objectives are met and assist in the establishment and administration of unit policies, procedures and systemsParticipate in the development of goals and budgets for area of responsibilityWork on complex issues where analysis of situations or data requires an in-depth evaluation of variable factors and exercise judgment in selecting methods and evaluation criteria for obtaining resultsThe Senior Contract Manager typically reports into the 3rd Level of Management.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications: Five or more years experience in management of strategic supplier relationships and contractsAbility to manage intense workload with short timeframesStrong negotiation skillsStrong leadership and communication skillsDesired Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Business, Procurement or related fieldGraduate degree (JD, MBA, Paralegal cert.
