AIX Engineer Job in Tempe, Arizona US
Location: Tempe, AZ (preferred) or Minneapolis, MNThis will start as a 6 month contract with possible extension out to 18 months.
Job Description: Open position for a senior level AIX administrator with experience working in a large, complex IT infrastructure(s).
Ideal candidate is a highly motivated self-starter and committed team player with strong verbal and written communication and analytical skills.
REQUIRED SKILLS/ EXPERIENCE: 6 years experience building and supporting AIX 5-6.
x (Senior Level) on p-Series5 years experience building and supporting one of the following; Solaris 8-10; RHEL or SUSE Linux, HPUX 11 and higher.
4 years experience Host / SAN connectivity (required on AIX and one other UNIX/LINUX operating system)3 years experience supporting VERITAS FS, VM, VCS (Must have experience in VERITAS Clustering Suite)3 years experience configuring HMC2 years experience with Client, HP or IBM blade servers2 years experience and working knowledge NIM servers and related processes PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED: Some working knowledge Oracle or DB2Apache, Tomcat, Weblogic, JBoss and other middleware related applications Shell scripting (Ksh, bash, or sh) Experience with Remedy or other ticketing systems.
