A/P Manager Job in New York, New York US
Our client, a leading entertainment company, is seeking an A/P Manager for its New York City location.
The Manager will be responsible for developing and monitoring policies and procedures in accordance with the Company's established policies.
Communicate and coordinate A/P policies, practices, and procedures with internal departments and vendors.
Oversee the A/P function including direct supervision of three full-time staff.
Prioritize workflow to ensure that invoices are processed in a timely matter.
Manage the payment process from vendor set-up, approvals, expense coding, check runs, and uploading CDS bank file transmissions.
Review and resolve daily Positive Pay exceptions.
Prepare reconciliations of A/P to the G/L.
Administer WebExpenses (T/E software) and Amex Corporate Card.
Research and resolve internal and vendor payment inquiries.
Ensure cross training of employees.
Develop and implement corporate expenditure policies.
Oversee preparation and filing of 1099s and other Tax Reports.
Assist with Month-End closing functions and other G/L functions.
Assist in internal / external audits and ad hoc projects as required.
