A/P Clerk/Finance Assistant Job in New York 10010, New York US
The A/P Clerk/Finance Assistant will report to the Chief Financial Officer.
RESPONSIBILITIES: The A/P Clerk/Finance Assistant will be responsible for: Responsible for calendar management, and required to interact with internal senior executives and external contacts/consultants to coordinate meetingsCommunicate and handle all incoming callsPerform general clerical duties to include photocopying, faxing, scanning, mailing and maintaining filesApprove all office supply orders and review/research pricesProcessing of Accounts PayablePerform Amex reconciliationReviewing employee expense reports to ensure they are in compliance with company policyDaily cash deposits Personal Characteristics & Experience The ideal A/P Clerk/Finance Assistant candidate has the following characteristics: Able to work with basic supervision, with initiative, and good judgmentProven computer skills, including experience using Excel, Word, Outlook and Powerpoint.
Organized, disciplined, process oriented as well as having a great sense of time management;Must be detail-oriented in order to recognize errors made by others: EDUCATION An undergraduate degree is required.
