Portfolio Administrator - Capital Equipment Location: Novation, Corporate Headquarters - Irving, TX Job Summary This opportunity will report to the Director or Senior Director in Contract Services.
The incumbent will assist and manage portfolio administrative functions coordinating the fulfillment of the organizations contract requirements and routinely monitoring the efficiencies within the business unit to assist Portfolio Executives with overall portfolio management.
Responsibilities This position is responsible for coordinating the fulfillment of the organizations contract requirements.
This includes: o Serves as a primary contact for Portfolio Executives regarding members, distributors or suppliers on resolving specific issues/concerns, reporting issues and/or compliance o Prepare contract amendments and price management documents to support contracting efforts for the business unit o Assist and manage the RFI / RFP calendar o Responsible for managing contract milestone reports o Prepare and manage extension documents as part of the contract management process o Conducting product and market assessments and market research to assist the Portfolio Executives in building contracting strategies o Prepare monthly reports detailing contract performance against objectives o Interprets contract needs and organizing process correspondence with contracting parties o Initiating process improvement activities to support Terms and Conditions cataloging o Effectively communicating with all stakeholders Requirements Bachelor's Degree preferred, either in business or a health care related field.
Clinical and/or business experience in the health care strongly preferred Two to three years of progressive experience in the health care products industry or progressive managerial experience in a health care organization Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office software products Word, Power Point, Excel and Access Strong analytical, database and spreadsheet skills Excellent verbal, written and presentation communication skills Flexible, action-oriented team player VHA, Novation and Provista are committed to equal employment opportunity.
