RSA, The Security Division of EMC, was formed in September 2006 following EMC Corporation's acquisitions of RSA Security and Network Intelligence.

The RSA – enVision Practice Consultant is responsible for the implementation and project management (both technical and business) of professional services engagements for RSA's Security Incident and Event Management solution – enVision.

These projects may include analyzing requirements, implementation, customization, integration and documentation for the customer.

By employing enVision's monitoring and reporting applications, the Practice Consultant will enable the customer to realize the power and value of the enVision solution.

The Practice Consultant works closely with sales, engagement managers, other professional services personnel, and the customer to ensure a smooth implementation and transition from start-up to integration/production mode.

Key responsibilities include the successful execution of all consulting engagements, which encompass evaluating customers' strategic business issues, identifying requirements, creating business case justifications, and proposing appropriate enterprise solutions.

We are seeking a dynamic, services focused and results oriented experienced Professional Services consulttant.

The Professional Services Consultant acts as a company representative in a post-sales role to provide installation, training, and customization services.

The candidate must be resourceful, self sufficient and capable of working with minimal supervision in time and results pressured situations.

Knowledge of industry security consulting best practices in the implementation of complex technical solutions is a must.

The candidate must posess demonstrable strong interpersonal skills.

This position will require travel throughout the United States and select international sites.

Primary responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Provide on-site installation, training, and customization services at customer sites Provide customer product training in person or via phone and/or webinar Assist with the development of Statements of Work for complex projects Ability to build project plans and manage complex projects – traditional project management activities Focus and commitiment to complete the contracted tasks per the contract which may require non standard business hours Tracking, reporting and documenting activies, progress and escalations Proactive follow up and decication to achieve the utmost customer satisfaction Analysis and debugging of technical issues Provide technical documentation and knowledge base updates Assist technical support during active services engagments to facilitate timely resolution to identified defects Minimum requirements for consideration: Minimum of a 4 year (ie Bachelors) Degree in a technical discipline (Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems/Science, Mathematics, etc.) or equivalent experience Minimum 3 years experience successfully completing consulting services to customers in complex network environments, including exposure to security environments (SOC, NOC, LAN/WAN, Desktop) Current or prior roles in customer facing activities Expert level knowledge of Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer.

Familiarity with Firewalls, Routers, VPN devices, VPN, or other network and security devices Familiarity with HTML/CSS/XML a plus Experience with major compliance requirements – PCI, GLBA, HIPPA Experience with SQL query execution and basic troubleshooting Thorough understanding of network and security principles (TCP/IP, DNS/WINS, firewalls, routers, IDS, VPNs) Positive, can-and-will-do, team player attitude Positive appearance and charismatic demeanor conducive to presenting information to customers in a face-to-face encounters Ability to clearly relay technical knowledge to both technical and non-technical people- written and verbally Resourceful and self-sufficient, as help may not always be readily available Ability to be successful in time and demand pressured situations Project management experience, particularly in the area of application implementation Ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks and heterogenius tasks Willing and able to travel up to 90% of the time, including possible international travel Ability to rack and perform basic cabling connections for server and NAS hardware Additional Beneficial Experiences: Experience installing and administering rack-mounted server: power, network, disk, consoles, etc Experience with installion, configuration and operation of enVisio

4. 0: adding new event sources, new alert creation, custom reporting, correlation rules creating and editing, and other advanced enVision features Relevant security / product vendor certifications, including but not limited to: Windows OS certifications (MSCE, MCP, etc.) Security certifications (CISSP, GCIH etc.) Device Vendor Certifications (Cisco CCNA/CCNP, Check Point CCSE, NICE, etc.)
