*NURSE PRACTITIONER - Neurology Intens Job in Chicago , Illinois US
Job Description: The Neurocritical Care Nurse Practitioner works in collaboration with the Physician Neurointensivist as defined in an agreement consistent with the rules of the State of Illinois.
The scope of practice is consistent with the physician specialty and the nurse's educational preparation.
The Nurse Practitioner facilitates Neuroscience ICU patient progression through the ICU continuum of care and assures resources are used in an efficient manner.
The Nurse Practitioner exemplifies the Rush mission, vision, and values and acts in accordance with Rush policies and procedures.
Current State of Illinois Registered Nurse require
2. Current State of Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse licens
3. Maintains applicable national specialty certification4.
Master's Degree in nursing from an accredited school of nursing is required5 Progressive experience, experience with insertion and maintenance of invasive physiologic monitoring and mechanical ventilation preferred
