Job Description National Channel Manager – Americas Partner Sales – CMA-Source One The National Channel Manager – Partner Sales – CMA-SourceOne position is responsible for sales execution across FSG, Advizex, and CDW, hence called the Nationals or the Distribution Partners (Avnet, Arrow, and Ingram) in the Americas focusing on the successful introduction, adoption and revenue acceleration of the Source One platform.
This position will require the development, sales execution, and coordination of partner sales account plans across the Americas.
The position is a revenue generating position.
Partners are expected to contribute approximately 70% of the total license revenue in the territory for SourceOne Email and Discovery Manager.
The position will primarily focus on developing a SourceOne tactical execution of partner sales with expansion to include SharePoint, File, and appliances.
Job Responsibilities: · Introduce SourceOne assigned partners and drive sales through the reseller network and ecosystem under the direction of the VP of CMA Partner Sales-Americas.
· Ensure that Source One is enable within Velocity, to include MDP, Velocity compliance, VIP, Registration, the PSC, and all associated benefits · Implement Training plans for partners as far as pre sales, Accreditation, and implementation and Consulting services · Introduce Source One sizing, ESA, and ROI tool analytics to assigned partners and EMC field sales force · Lead the Accreditation and Certification participation across the Source One partners · Develop partner playbooks for each region working with SourceOne Regional Managers.
· Co develop programs with the Velocity team and eDiscovery Practice as appropriate to drive partner revenue · Implement sales alignment strategy and account plans with Partners.
· Developing and manage GTM business plan · Translate partner core competencies into relevant skills for the field sales organization.
· Develop enablement plans to build out the partners pre-sales and delivery capabilities · Driving and advocating for your partners into the EMC Field sales · Drive reseller and revenue and achieve assigned revenue quota · Assist in Managing disputes between EMC and the partner · Provide forecasting, pipeline tracking, and reporting to the VP CMA Partners Sales -Americas Qualifications: · Strong channel experience, knowledge of Velocity and all EMC core relationships in Americas · Strong Archive experience · C apable of developing, managing and executing sales plans with partners and field sales · Strong influencer – able to move plans forward without explicit organizational authority · Strong managerial and leadership presence, ability to interface at very senior levels, internal and external · Strong communication and presentation skills · Software and Project Management and Professional Services experience · Good business background · Good technical acumen a plus · BA/BS required, Managerial Experience necessary
