Senior Marketing Manager
Hachette Filipacchi Media US Inc, the world's leading publisher of consumer magazines, has an opportunity for a Senior Marketing Manager for Metropolitan Home, the leading modern design magazine.
This very busy marketing department seeks a creative strategist to handle all aspects of marketing and promotions.
This position is responsible for working with the creative services director and other marketing staff to develop strategic marketing ideas that generate advertising revenue and increase awareness for the magazine.
The primary day-to-day role for this position is conceptualizing, writing, pitching and executing integrated marketing and added value/merchandising programs.
Responsibilities include conceptualizing and writing collateral sales materials, executing merchandising programs from start-to-finish, developing and managing online marketing programs and strategic partnerships, Co-managing execution of in-store events, sales meetings, trade events and other appropriate locations, creating and managing budgets for merchandising programs/events, and identifying new ideas and projects that will keep the marketing programs fresh and innovative.
The candidate must have 3-4 years consumer magazine experience.
Prior experience working in the shelter category with knowledge of interior designers and an understanding of syndicated research is a plus.
We are seeking a self-motivated creative team player with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Strong writing skills with attention to detail is required.
