Department: Supply Chain/Promotions Reporting to: Package Development Manager Location: Stamford, CT Main Areas of Responsibility: Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Purchasing packing components for new promotional products Analyzing and forecasting cost standards on all materials to maximize bottom line profits Supervising supplier production to insure proper interpretation and meet deadlines Contributing to the development process for new products and promotions Attending press runs in order to approve color and print quality Requirements and Skills: BA or BS degree in Purchasing/Packaging or related field At least 5 years related experience in fragrance and the cosmetics industry Good graphic arts background for printed material with ability to make production oriented decisions Requires strong negotiation and strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to develop and sustain effective relationships Ability to work independently and adapt to changing priorities and workload Up to 25% travel may be required We offer the unique growth opportunity you would expect from a business leader.
